Sustainability Policy

At Bioli, sustainability is embedded in everything we do—from the lab to your skin, and back to the earth. As a Danish biotech skincare company, we develop mild yet effective products powered by bioactive enzyme technology and rooted in cutting-edge biotechnology. Our ingredients are biobased, biodegradable, and verified through life cycle analysis to ensure minimal environmental impact—before, during, and after use.

But our commitment doesn’t stop at the formula. We’ve eliminated waste across the board. Our containers are made from fermented microorganisms and fully biodegrade in home compost within 52 weeks. No plastic. No glass. Rather than using both an outer box and a shipping box, we use just one—a single compostable, FSC®-certified paper bag for storage and shipping.

As part of our mission to advance sustainability, we also aim to educate consumers on eco-conscious skincare practices. We do this through our blog, Bionotes, where we share valuable insights on sustainability and skin health.

We’re not here to greenwash. We’re here to advocate for genuinely more environmentally friendly solutions—both in general and through our products—as we work to redefine skincare: scientifically advanced, radically transparent, and environmentally responsible from the inside out.
