What is BioProtect?
BioProtect is the bioactive enzyme technology at the core of our Moisturizing and Protecting Day Cream. Powered by Superoxide Dismutase from Saccharomyces cerevisiae and enhanced with activity-boosting ingredients, it provides high antioxidant protection and anti-inflammatory benefits. Your bioalternative to petrochemical-derived ingredients like vitamins C, E, and green tea, as a sustainable, high-performance way to protect your skin.
Are the products suitable for sensitive skin?
We believe that all skincare should be formulated with sensitive skin as default.
So Bioli products are crafted using only gentle yet effective, non-irritating ingredients are free from fragrances, making them suitable for all skin types, including normal, dry, oily, combination, and sensitive skin.
Bioli products are both AllergyCertified and dermatologically tested on sensitive skin. In a study conducted under dermatological supervision with 25 volunteers who had a history of allergies or sensitive skin, none of the participants reported any irritation or allergic reactions, confirming the product’s compatibility with sensitive skin. Additionally, Bioli products have been classified as non-irritating based on comprehensive skin compatibility tests.

Bioli's products also being manufactured in Denmark in collaboration with a factory that is known for its reliability and commitment to sustainability. The factory uses recycled water and has upgraded its lighting system to a greener, more energy-efficient solution, further minimizing its environmental impact.
How do I ensure the jar doesn’t start to degrade in my bathroom?
Our packaging is completely stable in use, no matter how long you keep the product.
In order for the jar to biodegrade, it must be exposed to microbes in a natural, non-sterile environment (such as a home compost) for biodegradation to take place. These microbes do not exist in sufficient quantities in human environments (like your bathroom, car, or the bottom of your handbag) for biodegradation to begin. Conditions that often degrade other natural materials, such as heat, sunlight, or moisture, do not affect the product’s stability while in use. You can leave it by a sunny window or in a steamy bathroom, and it’ll remain just as you left it.
When your product reaches its end of use, you can throw it into your home compost or general waste. It will then biodegrade without leaving any harmful toxins or micro-plastics behind. It will degrade fully in a healthy home compost within 12 months.
Why does my day cream jar have flaws?
As the jars are made from biodegradable materials derived from fermented microorganisms, rather than conventional plastic or glass, slight variations in the jar’s appearance may occur due to printing transfer. It doesn’t affect the product—it’s just a small trade-off for sustainability
