Bioli receives second grant from Innovation Fund Denmark
October 2023 – Bioli has been awarded an Innobooster grant from Innovation Fund Denmark, marking the second grant awarded to the company for advancing its sustainable skincare solutions.
Driven by a mission to make skincare better for the skin and the environment through biosolutions, Bioli is embarking on an ambitious R&D journey made possible by an R&D Innobooster grant of 641,454 DKK from Innovation Fund Denmark.
The funding will support a pivotal collaboration with DTU Biosustain (Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability) and enable the hiring of Aldo Seguel, an experienced scientific researcher who will join Bioli as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO).
“This grant is an important step for us,” says Nina Wiberg Rosenquist, CEO and Founder of Bioli. “It allows us to continue working towards a more sustainable skincare industry, and we’re looking forward to moving ahead with our R&D projects”
Innovation Fund Denmark, a government agency, provides grants to support research, knowledge-based innovation, and entrepreneurship, fostering technological advancements and innovative solutions. Bioli previously received the Innofounder start-up grant of 430,000 DKK.
