Copenhagen, January  2025 - Bioli has been awarded a grant from Biosolutions Zealand to support the scale-up and testing of our novel skincare technology.

The funding is provided by the Danish Board of Business Development and originates from the European Regional Development Fund. Its purpose is to enable SMEs and startups in the biosolutions sector to test, further develop, and demonstrate their innovations.

"This funding will allow us to demonstrate the potential of our solutions on a larger scale, which is an essential next step", says Nina Wiberg Rosenquist, CEO of Bioli.

Through Biosolutions Zealand, facilities for biorefining and fermentation have been established. These, in combination with other Danish facilities within and beyond Region Zealand, will enable the upscaling and testing of ideas, products, and solutions in the biosolutions space. This helps companies demonstrate viable business cases without needing to secure facilities abroad or make substantial investments in their own infrastructure.

In partnership with Zealand-based Bioneer A/S, the voucher will support the next stages of testing and validation, enabling the progression of Bioli's promising biosolutions and delivering better, more sustainable options to the market.
